		<description>I actually like the idea of comparing DC to NYC - not in the sense of measuring up, but perhaps looking at how public spaces in DC function differently than in NYC?  Times Square symbolizes something very different than  . . . there&#039;s nothing that really compares to Times Square in DC.  Why is that??</description>

It might be useful to keep up those comparisons of DC versus NYC?  How much does what we&#039;re used to affect our experiences of something new?  Is it harder to get a sense of the layout of DC as opposed to NYC?  Just some thoughts. . .</description>
